SCABBARD BODY ASSEMBLY (Cont)
Cutter plate requires replacement only if it is cracked, broken,
wont cut wire, or screw driver tip is damaged and wont remove
bayonet cap screw.
Inspect cutter assembly (1) for nonfunctioning.
If nonfunctioning, replace.
Remove screws only to replace cutter assembly or screws.
Remove 2 socket head screws (1).
Separate cutter assembly (2) from scabbard body assembly (3).
Inspect screw threads and

solvent (item 5, app D). Wear rubber gloves (item 7, app D) and use a wash pan
(item 11, app D) and brush (item 2,
app D) to apply dry cleaning solvent.
