If the water heater buzzer sounds on the control box, turn off load limit switch (1) and wait
approximately two minutes. Repeat steps (1) through (10) to start water heater.

Adjust air shutter (7) until there is little or no smoke in the heater exhaust.

When the water reaches the specified temperature (refer to FM 10-280), check temperature
gage reading with thermostat setting. The heater flame will shut off automatically and fuel
pressure gage (10) will register zero.
