10. Check for > 4 VDC across terminals (+5) and (DCOM) on PCB10B where wires (349 and 357) are
connected.
Is > 4 VDC present?
YES Go to step 11.
NO Check wire connections between PCB10B and TB9. Repair as necessary.
11. Check for > 4 VDC across terminals (+5) and (DCOM) on PCB10A connector that is connected to display.
Is > 4 VDC present?
YES Go to step 12.
NO Replace PCB10A (WP 0243 00).
12. Check for > 4 VDC across terminals (+5) and (DCOM) on PCB10B connector that is connected to display.
Is > 4 VDC present?
YES Go to step 13.
NO Replace PCB10B (WP 0243 00).
13. Determine if problem is at both displays or only with one display.
Are both displays malfunctioning?
YES Replace PCB9 (WP 0215 00).
NO Go to step 14.
14. Position SW2 to OFF.
15. ESD. Check wire connections between suspect PCB10 and PCB9.
Are connections OK?
YES Go to step 16.
NO Repair as required.
16. ESD. At PCB9 switch connectors at J1 and J4.
17. Position SW2 to ON.
18. Check status of both displays.
Does malfunction change to other display?
YES Replace PCB9 (WP 0215 00).
NO Go to step 19.
19. Position SW2 to OFF.
20. Replace suspect PCB10 (WP 0243 00).
21. Position SW2 to ON.
22. Check status of suspect display.
Does display function properly?
YES Return to normal operation.
NO Replace display (WP 0244 00).
