Section I. DIRECT SUPPORT GENERAL
3-1. INTRODUCTION.
This chapter contains some important information that you need to know about the direct support maintenance
requirements of the Laundry Unit. This information includes but is not limited to troubleshooting and maintenance of the
various systems and subsystems which comprise the unit.
3-2. SCOPE.
This chapter contains maintenance instructions for removing, installing, and repairing the Laundry Unit at the direct
support maintenance level. Maintenance personnel should become familiar with the information in this section.
3-3. COMMON TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT.
For authorized common tools and equipment, refer to the Modified Table of Organization and Equipment (MTOE)
applicable to your unit.
3-4. SPECIAL TOOLS, TMDE, AND SUPPORT EQUIPMENT.
Refer to Appendix B (Maintenance Allocation Chart) for a list of special tools, TMDE, and support equipment.
3-5.REPAIR PARTS.
Repair parts are listed and illustrated in the repair parts and special tools list, TM 10-3510-222-24P, covering repair parts
for this equipment. Appendix C lists the Mandatory Replacement Parts which need to be replaced during maintenance.
