Heater Modification.
WARNING
Ensure that only specified materials are used in the modification of the heater cord.
NOTES:
1. Remove the heater thermostat control switch knob and the thermostat control switch from the rear of the heater and
retain.
2. Drill new mounting holes in locations shown on the front of the heater for re-installation of the switch knob and
temperature probe.
3. Re-install the thermostat control switch, the identification plate and the thermostat control knob at the new location
on the front of the heater. Slide the temperature probe through the hole in the lower right corner of the front panel and
secure in place using two insulated clamps and sheet metal screws.
4. Enlarge the hole on the rear of the heater to the size shown (Previous location of the thermostat control switch) and
install the box connector and cable into the enlarged hole as shown.
