(b) Fold webbing 1/2 inch (1.27 cm) each end and position over damaged section and stitch with a 1/2-
inch (1.27 cm) wide box stitch 1/8-inch (0.318 cm) from the folded ends.
NOTE
If the section to be repaired falls within an eyelet and washer, install a new
eyelet and washer (with proper sized dies) using items 31 and 35, Figure
14-7, and position in the original location.
(13) Flap pouch with liner. Replace item as follows:
(a) Carefully cut the stitching which secures the flap to the pack.
(b) Replace the new flap with liner on the pack using the type 3 seam. Repair procedures are
described in FM 10-16.
