OPERATOR MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
3-1.
GENERAL. None of the Chemical Protective Clothing Items have any repair maintenance associated with them. If any of
your items are damaged or defective, exchange it for a new one using designated supply system.
3-2.
LAUNDERING THE CHEMICAL PROTECTIVE UNDERWEAR (CPU).
a.
General. The CPU may be laundered once during its NBC service life.
b.
Machine/Hand Laundering.
CAUTION
Do NOT use bleach or starch on CPU. Never press or dry clean CPU. Chemical protection of the CPU will be degraded.
