For the purpose of clarification of terms used in this manual, the
following definitions are given:
Specified
Refers to a definite amount, operation, or limitation
which has been established and is contained in
applicable directives.
Evidence
Is an indication of an existing or impending
unsatisfactory condition.
Security
Means the component is properly mounted or
attached to related equipment including applicable
safetying.
