Hold the mirror close to the eye and slowly turn it until the bright
spot is on the target.
NOTE
Mirror flashes can be sighted with good
visibility for a distance of 30 miles at an
elevation of 10,000 feet. Mirror flashes are also
effective on cloudy days with poor visibility.
