LPU-34/P LPFC
The LPU-34/P LPFC consists of an exterior cover assembly, inflation
shell assembly, and a flotation assembly. The flotation assembly
consists of two independent inflatable bladders, each of which is
equipped with a manual inflation device and an oral inflation valve.
Four straps on the inflation shell assembly attach the LPU-34/P to the
survival vest. A beaded handle on each side of the exterior cover
initiate inflation of the life preserver. Two additional straps adjust a
plastic buckle which snaps across the wearer’s chest to keep the LPU-
34/P in position when worn.
