2-1. Tools and Equipment
Tools and equipment issued with or authorized for the
Eidal Model ELT9T and Edro Model EP120LTU, laundry
unit(s) are listed in TM 10-3510-20834P.
2-2. Special Tools and Equipment
No special tools or equipment are required to perform
direct and general support and depot maintenance on
the laundry unit.
2-3. Maintenance Repair Parts
Repair parts and equipment are listed and illustrated in
the repair parts and special tools list covering direct
support and general support maintenance for this
equipment. TM 10-3510-208-.34P
Section II. TROUBLESHOOTING
2-4. General
a.
This
section
provides
troubleshooting
information for locating and correcting most of the
operating troubles which may develop in the laundry
unit(s). Each malfunction for an individual component,
unit, or system is followed by a list of tests or
inspections which will help you to determine probable
causes and corrective actions to take. You should
perform tests/ inspections and corrective actions in the
order listed.

This manual cannot list all malfunctions that
may occur, nor all tests or inspection and corrective
actions. If a malfunction is not listed or is not corrected
by listed corrective actions, notify your supervisor.

1. WATER HEATER FUEL PUMP FAILS TO DELIVER FUEL
Step 1.
Check for air leak in suction line.
Tighten suction line.
Step 2.
Check for reversed motor direction.
Disconnect and reverse wiring.
Step 3.
Check for shaft seal leak.
Replace the seal, paragraph 5-3.
Step 4.
Check for a clogged fuel burner nozzle.
Remove nozzle and clean strainer.
