Cleaning.
WARNING
Clean all parts in a well-ventilated
area. Avoid inhalation of solvent
fumes and prolonged exposure of
skin to cleaning solvent. Wash
exposed
skin
thoroughly.
Dry
cleaning solvent (Fed. Spec. P-D-
680) used to clean parts is potentially
dangerous
to
personnel
and
property. Do not use near open
flame or excessive heat. Flash point
of solvent is 100 to 138° F. (38 to 59° C).
Clean the drain pan with cleaning solvent. Fed.
Spec. P-D-680, and dry thoroughly.

Inspection and Repair.
(1)
Inspect the drain pan for cracks,
breaks, dents and other damage.
(2)
Weld
minor
cracks
or
breaks,
straighten, dents, or replace the drain pan.
d.
Installation.
(1)
Install the drain pan (4. fig. 7-25) and
secure with lockwashers (3) and capscrews (2).
(2)
Install the coupling (1).
