WATER PUMP SERVICING

REMOVAL
1. Open petcocks (1) on water pumps (2)
2. Allow water to drain then close petcocks (1).
3. Loosen clamping knobs (3) securing covers (4) to pump housings (5).
4. Rotate covers (4) to clear clamping knobs (3) then remove covers.
5. Pull strainers (6) out of pump housings (5).
6. Rinse strainers (6) with water to remove all debris.
7. Inspect strainers (1) and gaskets (7) for obvious damage. Replace if damaged.

INSTALLATION
1. Insert strainers (6) into pump housings (5).
2. Ensure gasket (7) is properly seated in groove on pump housing (5).
3. Install covers (4) and rotate under clamping knobs (3).
4. Tighten clamping knobs (3) to secure covers (4) to pump housings (5).
