WATER RECYCLE SYSTEM -- Continued
A condenser is used to turn the steam, produced by the still, back into water. The condenser consists of four heat
exchangers and an electric fan. Screens are provided for each heat exchanger to prevent debris from clogging up the
cooling fins on the heat exchangers. The screens are easily removed and are reusable after cleaning.
A coalescing filter is used is used to remove light oil from the water. A pump is used to circulate the water coming out
of the condenser, through the coalescing filter, then back to the rinse 2 tank.
A subcooler and evaporative cooler are provided to help cool the water going back to the rinse 2 tank. These items
are only used when 90o -- 140o Fahrenheit (F) rinse water is needed and the outside temperature is above 60o F.
