WARNING
Voltage in this equipment is high enough
to cause serious injury or death. Do not
perform this task with power on.
a.
REMOVAL
(1)
Remove two screws (1) and cover (2).
(2)
Remove wire nut (3) from wires (4).
(3)
Tag and disconnect wires from motor (23).
(4)
Remove locknut (5) and remove elbow (6) and sealing washer (7) from motor (23).
(5)
Remove two locknuts (8) and remove sealing washers (9) and adapters (10) from motor (23).
(6)
Remove four screws (11), lockwashers (12) and cover (13) with attached parts from dryer base.
(7)
Remove cotter pin (14), nut (15), lockwasher (16), spacer (17) and exhaust blower (18) from shaft of
motor (23).
(8)
Remove key (19) from shaft of motor (23).
(9)
Remove four nuts (20), lockwashers (21), screws (22) and cover (13) from motor (23).
b.
REPAIR
Repair consists of replacing damaged and/or missing components of the hot air blower.
c.
INSTALLATION
(1)
Position motor (23) on cover (13) and secure with four screws (22), lockwashers (21) and nuts (20).
(2)
Position key (19) on shaft of motor (23) and install exhaust blower (18), spacer (17), lockwasher (16),
nut (15) and cotter pin (14).
(3)
Position cover (13) on base of dryer and install four screws (11) and lockwashers (12).
