The removable sleeping bag cover (Figure 20-3) is constructed of a moisture vapor permeable waterproof fabric. The
cover is attached to either the Extreme or Intermediate Cold Weather Sleeping Bag by two rows of snaps located
above and below the slide fastener. The cover is designed to be removable from the bag to allow for better air drying of
the bag and to permit its use as a protective enclosure separate from the sleeping bag. In addition, the cover serves as
an excellent wind breaker.
