TM 10-2510-209-10, Hose removed from water source.
MOS 63J (1)
INSPECTION
Inspect suction strainer for cracks, breaks, and damage.
REPLACEMENT
1.
Remove strainer (1) from water pump suction
hose assembly (3).
2.
Remove coupling (2) from strainer (1).
3.
Coat threads of bushing (2) with thread sealer
compound (Item 5, App C) and install half coupling (2) in
strainer (1).
4.
Install strainer (1) with coupling (2) on water
pump suction hose (3).
