Death orserious injury may result.1.2.3.4.5.Remove electrical power from thewasher.Remove drive belt cover (1) byturning the four quarter-turn winghead studs (2) counter-clockwiseand pulling out studs, then slidedrive belt cover to rear to remove.Inspect drivebelt (3) for wear,fraying, signs of slipping, andincorrect tension. Refer toADJUSTMENT, step 6.Turn drive pulley (4) by hand. Feelfor rough movement or binding ofgears or motor bearings.Remove oil level hole plug (5).Check oil level (even with bottom ofhole).
