e. Install fan (4) on rotor shaft (8)
and tighten screw (3).
f. Install fan cover (2) on motor
housing (9) and secure with
three screws (1).
WARNING
Components of this washer assembly are
heavy and maybe awkward to handle. Use
correct lifting procedures, lifting devices,
and/or assistance from other personnel to
avoid injury.
NOTE
Gear reduction unit should be installed
before the drive motor is installed.
Refer to paragraph 3-10 and install gear
reduction unit in accordance with
ASSEMBLY, step 3.
Refer to paragraph 3-10 and install drive
motor in accordance with ASSEMBLY,
step 4.
Refer to paragraph 3-10 INSTALLATION,
steps 6 and 7 and connect electrical wires
to motor.
Perform follow-on installation.
Install drivebelt guard (para 3-10).
Install tarp assembly (TM 10-
3510-220-10).
