Equipment Condition:
Thread removed from stand.
Removal. Refer to paragraph 2-18.
Inspection.
(1)
Inspect for damaged parts.
(2)
Inspect for loose or missing hardware.
(3)
Inspect for corrosion on thread hook.
Cleaning.
(1)
Clean the thread unwinder with a clean damp wipingrag (Appendix F, Item 2)

Allow to dry.
Repair. Repair is limited to replacement of the defective components.
Installation. Refer to paragraph 2-8.
