7. Use a multimeter set to read ohms (Ω) to test for continuity between the black and white wires and
their contacts in the socket (4), and between the black and white wires and ground (green wire). If no
continuity exists between wires and socket contacts, replace light fixture socket. If continuity exists
between either the white or black wire and ground replace light fixture socket.
8. Reconnect wiring (6) as tagged.
9. Install light fixture socket (4), and retain with screws (5).
10. Install light bulb (3) in socket (5).
11. Install cover (2), and retain with screws (1).
