Reduced pressure zone assemblies must be inspected and tested periodically to ensure proper operation
of check valves within the unit.
Test Set Up
1. Close valves A (1), B (2), and C (3) on the test kit.
2. Connect the high side hose (yellow) (4) to test cock #2 (5).
3. Connect the low side hose (white or red) (6) to test cock #3 (7). Close shutoff #2 (8).
4. Open test cocks #2 (5) and #3 (7).
5. Open vent valve C (3).
6. Open high valve A (1) and bleed to atmosphere until all the air is expelled.
7. Close valve A (1).
8. Open low valve B (2) and bleed to atmosphere until are air is expelled.
9. Close low valve B (2).
10. Close vent valve C (3).
11. Connect vent hose (blue) (9) to test cock #4 (10).
