All measurements shall be taken with the drawers laid flat and under no tension.
23-8. CLEANING.
a.
General. The Chemical Protective Underwear (CPU) may be laundered an unlimited number of times
during training life. Dirty clothes wear out quickly because dirt cuts textile fibers and retains moisture from
perspiration. Prior to laundering and drying, make sure all slide fasteners are engaged and all fastener
tapes are fastened. Securing these items will result in a better laundered garment.
b.
Stain/Spot Removal. (For training only)
NOTE
Do not bleach or dry clean CPU.

Following instructions on container, use a pre-wash or spot remover directly on the stain or spot
followed by a standard laundry cycle with type II detergent.
