The test altimeter should read within the tolerances for the cited altitudes as listed in Table 2-3.

If the test altimeter does not meet the requirements indicated in steps (4) and (5) above, it is considered
unserviceable and shall be replaced.

If the test altimeter satisfactorily meets the requirements the altimeter is serviceable for use.

Place a suitable length of pressure-sensitive tape (masking tape) in an accessible location on the test
altimeter which will permit the tape to be observed while the altimeter is in use. Calculate next test due
by advancing today's date by 90 days. Record next test due date (day, month, year) and the last name of
the individual performing the test Tape marking will be made with a suitable type marking device
