Replace Arming Pin Bush Seal.
WARNING
Acetone and Methyl Ethyl Ketone are hazardous
chemicals! Repeated or prolonged contact with liquid or
inhalation of vapor can cause skin and eye irritation,
dermatitis, narcotic effects, and damage to internal
organs. Avoid contact with skin and eyes and do not
breathe vapors Always wear protective goggles and
gloves, and use only in well-ventilated areas. Do not
use near open flame or excessive heat. If you become
dizzy while using one of these solvents, immediately get
fresh air and medical help. If solvent contacts eyes,
immediately wash your eyes and get medical help. In
case of skin contact, wash contacted area thoroughly
with soap and water.
(1) Remove unserviceable arming pin guide bush seal (1) from arming pin guide bush (2) by soaking in
Acetone or Methyl Ethyl Ketone (Appendix D, Item 13) for approximately four to five hours. Ensure that
all unserviceable seal (1) is removed and inside of bush (2) is clean and dry.
(2) Deposit one drop of cyanoacrylate instant cure adhesive (3) (Appendix D, Item 7) on a piece of paper,
cardboard, stencil board, or other clean surface.
