2-42. WATER HEATER AIR SHUTTER ASSEMBLY (CONT)
REPAIR
NOTE
Remove and replace only those items
necessary to make repair.
Repair of air shutter assembly is limited to
the replacement of component parts.
INSTALLATION

Place air band (9) over shutter
assembly (3) and secure with pin (8),
spring (7), two washers (6), and cotter
pin (5).
Position air shutter assembly (3) on
blower housing (4) and secure with
three capscrews (1) and lockwashers
(2).
Perform follow-on installation.
Install tarp assembly (TM 10-3510-
220-10).
Install fuel filter (para 2-41).
Install fuel pump (para 2-39).
