Loosen two setscrews (4) and
remove yoke (5) from shaft (6).

Loosen two setscrews (7) and
remove squirrel cage (8) and
key (9) from shaft (6).

Remove four capscrews (10),
lockwashers (11), and mounting
flange (12).
5.
Loosen setscrew (13) and remove
impeller (14) from shaft (6).
NOTE
Matchmark endplates and housing

before disassembly for ease in
assembly.
Remove four screws (15) and end
plate (16) from shaft (6).
Remove end plate (17) from shaft
(6).
Remove armature (18) from housing (3).
Remove shims (19) and bearings (20)
from armature (18).
Inspect for broken or cracked
motor, bent shaft, burned armature,
bent fins, damaged mounting plate,
and damaged wiring. If any of
these conditions exist, replace motor.
Replace bearings if they are rough
or excessively worn.
REPAIR
Repair of the motor blower assembly
consists of replacing damaged and/or
defective components.
