PREPARATION FOR MOVEMENT
A. Drain LADS and System Shutdown.
CAUTION
LADS can not be transported full of water. Prior to removing power from LADS a
drain cycle must be run. Failure to drain water from LADS can cause structural
damage to water tanks. Water left in plumbing can freeze causing joints to burst.
NOTE
Laundry cycles must be completed for systems A and B before a drain cycle can be
initiated.
1. Close both drum doors (1).
2. Push in on handle (2) until each drum door (1) is locked.
3. Fill a clean container (3) with about 1--gallon of water.
4. Place water container (3) next to detergent container (4) and anti--foam container (5).
5. Remove detergent supply tube (6) from detergent container (4) then place in water container (3).
6. Install cap (7) onto detergent container (4).
7. Remove anti--foam supply tube (8) from anti--foam container (5) then place in water container (3).
8. Install cap (9) onto anti--foam container (5).
9. Disconnect hose (10) from manual valve (11).
10. Remove hand pump (12) from anti--foam container (13).
11. Place hose (10) into anti--foam container (13).
12. Stroke hand pump (12) until all residual anti--foam is purged.
13. Install cap (14) onto anti--foam container (13).
14. Make sure manual valve (11) is closed.
