EMERGENCY PROCEDURES -- Continued
OPERATION WITH AN ANTI--FOAM SUPPLY NO FLOW FAULT
NOTE
When a malfunction in the automatic anti--foam supply occurs, operation may
continue using the procedure described below.
Adding too much anti--foam can cause premature clogging of the coalescing filter.
Not adding enough anti--foam may cause still to boil over, also leading to clogging of
the coalescing filter.
When manually injecting anti--foam, inject one full stroke when heating water, and 1/4
stroke at the beginning of each laundry cycle.
1. Open manual valve (1) at anti--foam port on still (2).
2. Use hand pump (3) to add anti--foam to still (2).
3. Close manual valve (1).
4. Repeat steps 2 through 4 at the beginning of each laundry cycle started on washing/drying system A or B.
