Power must be applied at main control
enclosure (WP 0010 00).
1. Observe operator panel display.
Does ”TE300 FAILURE” appear?
YES Go to TYPICAL TE FAILURE (WP 0035 00).
NO Go to step 2.
2. Use maintenance to turn on TF pump (WP 0010 00). Observe TF pump operation.
Does TF pump turn on?
YES Go to step 3.
NO Go to TF FLOW LO FAULT (WP 0074 00).
3. Allow TF pump to run for about 15 minutes then turn pump off.
4. Use maintenance menu examine inputs mode to observe TE300 reading.
Is reading > 220 degrees F?
YES Go to step 5.
NO Go to step 8.
5. Open door on heater control enclosure.
6. Observe TF temperature reading on temperature limit switch (TS300).
Is reading within +5 degrees F of TE300 observed in step 4.
YES Go to step 7.
NO Go to TYPICAL TE FAILURE (WP 0035 00).
7. Use maintenance to turn on TF pump. Allow TF pump to run. Periodically turn off pump and observe
TE300 reading. When reading is 220 degrees F or less proceed to step 8.
