NOTE
Heater will not turn on and stay on unless a load is available to remove heat from the
thermal fluid. In order for heater to operate long enough to troubleshoot a problem, there
must be water in the still or both dryers must have a DRY ONLY cycle in progress.
8. Use maintenance to test heating system.
Does heater come on?
YES Go to step 9.
NO Go to HEATING SYSTEM FAILURE (WP 0072 00).
9. Observe heater operation and operator panel display.
Does another TF TEMPERATURE HI message appear?
YES Go to step 10.
NO Return to normal operation.
10. Open door on heater control enclosure and main control enclosure. Verify SW1 and SW2 are on.
11. Verify LED3 on SSR PCB3 is not on.
Is LED on?
YES Go to TYPICAL AC OUTPUT SIGNAL FAULT (WP 0104 00).
NO Go to step 12.
12. Check for >100 VAC between terminal (6) on SSR PCB3 and TB1 terminal (N).
Is >100 VAC present?
YES Check for shorted wire connection at terminal (6) on SSR PCB3.
NO Go to step 13.
13. Check for >100 VAC between terminal (2) on heater control relay (CR300) and TB7 terminal (N).
Is >100 VAC present?
YES Check for shorted wire connections between terminal (2) on CR300 and TB7.
Repair as necessary.
NO Replace heater control relay (CR300) (WP 0195 00).
