REMOVAL
WARNING
The fuels used on the heating system are highly explosive. DO NOT smoke or use open
flame when performing maintenance. Flames and explosion could occur resulting in severe
personal injury or death.
1. Disconnect fuel hoses (1 and 2) from quick--connect fittings (3 and 4).
2. Slide air inlet screen (5) out of filter box (6).
3. Remove six nuts (7), lock washers (8), and flat washers (9) then remove cover (10) from filter box (6).
4. Disconnect fuel line (11) from elbow (12).
5. Remove two screws (13), remove cover (14) and gasket (15) from outlet body (16).
6. Tag and disconnect wires for solenoid valves (17) at outlet body (16).
7. Loosen four captive screws (18), then remove cover (19) and gasket (20) from fuel pressure switch (21).
8. Tag and disconnect wires at fuel pressure switch (21).
9. Loosen conduit nuts (22) then pull conduit (23) and wiring out of outlet body (16).
10. Remove two screws (24), flat washers (25), lock washers (26), and nuts (27), then remove fuel pressure switch
(21) from mounting bracket (28).
11. Unthread nipple (29) with attached outlet body (16) from fuel pressure switch (21).
12. Unthread elbow (12) from fuel pressure switch (21).
13. Clean pipe thread sealant off of elbow (12).
