INSTALLATION
1. Apply pipe thread sealant to threads of elbow (12).
2. Thread elbow (12) into new fuel pressure switch (21).
3. Thread nipple (29) into fuel pressure switch (21).
4. Position fuel pressure switch (21) onto mounting bracket (28), then secure with two screws (24), flat washers
(25), lock washers (26), and nuts (27).
5. Loosen four captive screws (18), then remove cover (19) and gasket (20) from fuel pressure switch (21).
6. Insert wiring and conduit (23) into outlet body (16) then tighten conduit nuts (22).
7. Connect wires for solenoid valves (17) at outlet body (16) as tagged.
8. Insert wires into fuel pressure switch (21). Connect wires to switch as tagged.
9. Install cover (14) and gasket (15) onto outlet body (16), then secure with two screws (13).
10. Connect fuel line (11) at elbow (12).
11. Connect fuel hoses (1 and 2) to quick--connect fittings (3 and 4).
ADJUSTMENT
1. Prime fuel pump (30) (TM 10--3510--221--10).
NOTE
While performing steps 2 through 9 fuel pump (30) must be operating.
2. Turn adjusting screw (31) on fuel pump (30) until reading on pressure gauge (32) is 125 psig.
3. Adjust plunger (33) until continuity exists across C and NO terminals on fuel pressure switch (21) then adjust
plunger slightly until continuity does not exist.
4. Turn adjusting screw (31) until reading on pressure gauge (32) is 130 psig.
5. Check for continuity across C and NO terminals on fuel pressure switch (21). If switch has continuity continue
to step 6, otherwise repeat steps 2 through 4.
6. Turn adjusting screw (31) until pressure gauge (32) reads 125 PSIG.
7. Check for continuity across C and NO terminals on fuel pressure switch (21). If switch has continuity repeat
steps 3 through 6, otherwise continue to step 8.
8. Turn adjusting screw (31) until pressure gauge (32) reads 140 PSIG.
9. Visually check for fuel leaks.
10. Release PRIME PUMP switch (34).
11. Install cover (19) and gasket (20) onto fuel pressure switch (21), then secure with four captive screws (18).
12. Install cover (10) onto filter box (6), then secure with six nuts (7), lock washers (8), and flat washers.
13. Slide air inlet screen (5) into blower housing (6) with direction arrow (35) pointing towards heater inlet.
14. Use maintenance menu to test heating system (WP 0010 00).
