DRUM MOTOR REPLACEMENT -- Continued

INSTALLATION
1. Position new motor (33) onto mounting plate (25), then secure left side of motor to motor mounting plate with
two screws (49), lock washers (50), and nuts (51).
2. Remove four screws (43), then remove cover (44) and gasket (45) from junction box (46).
3. Insert cord grip (48) and motor cable (9) into junction box (46), then secure with conduit nut (47).
4. Connect motor cable (9) at junction box (46) as tagged.
5. Install cover (44) and gasket (45) onto junction box (46), then secure with four screws (43).
6. Place sheave (39) on shaft (37).
7. Position tapered bushing (36) and key (42) on shaft (37) at dimension C.
8. Tighten set screw (41) to secure on tapered bushing (36).
9. Mate sheave (39) with tapered bushing (36) then secure with three screws (38).
10. Install motor (33) and attached mounting plate (25) into bearing support frame (24) as follows:
a. Ensure lifting eye (34) is clear of notches (35) in bearing support frame (24).
b. Slide mounting plate (25) into bearing support frame (24).
c. Lower mounting plate (25) onto mounting angles (26).
11. Align motor mounting plate (25) to mounting angles (26) to achieve dimensions A and B.
12. Install two screws (30), lock washers (31), and nuts (32) to secure right side of motor (33) to motor mounting
plate (25).
13. Secure mounting plate (25) to mounting angles (26) with six screws (27), lock washers (28), and nuts (29).
14. Position rear belt guard (23) onto bearing support frame (24), then secure with three screws (20), lock washers
(21), flat washers (22).
15. Install drum sheave (17) onto tapered bushing (18), then secure with three screws (15) and lock washers (16).
16. Install drive belt (WP 0117 00).
17. Install drum rotation sensor (WP 0118 00).
18. Install water pump (WP 0144 00).
19. Insert motor cable (9) through two clamps (14) and cord grip (11).
20. Connect motor cable (9) at output bus (8) as tagged.
21. Tighten nut (10) on cord grip (11).
22. Install cover (5) onto inverter drive (6), then secure with two captive screws (4).
23. Place door (2) onto inverter enclosure (3), then secure by tightening eleven latches (1).
24. Tighten two clamps (14).
25. Install tiedown straps (12) to securing cooling fan cable (13) to motor cable (9).
26. Use maintenance menu to rotate drum motor at all speeds and directions (WP 0010 00). Ensure drum rotates
freely and smoothly.
27 Perform a test laundry cycle (TM 10--3510--221--10). Verify normal operation.
