2-66. DISCHARGE SPOUT.

Voltage in this equipment is high enough to cause

REMOVAL
(1)
Remove four nuts (1), lockwashers (2) and screws (3).
(2)
Remove four screws (4) and lockwashers (5).
(3)
Remove spout and duct (6) from dryer base.
(4)
Remove nut (7), lockwasher (8), screw (9) and chain (10) from spout and duct (6).
(5)
Disconnect S-hooks (11 and 12) from chain (10) and separate pin (13) from S-hook (12).
b.
REPAIR
Repair consists of replacing damaged or missing components of the discharge spout.
c.
INSTALLATION
(1)
Connect S-hook (12) to pin (13) and chain (10).
(2)
Connect S-hook (11) to other end of chain (10).
(3)
Attach S-hook (11) to spout and duct (6), using screw (9), lockwasher (8) and nut (7).
(4)
Position spout and duct (6) on dryer base and secure with four screws (4) and lockwashers (5) and
four screws (3), lockwashers (2) and nuts (1).
(5)
Install exhaust adapter (Para 2-68).
