b. Disassembly.
(1) Remove the pulley (1, fig. 7-10), then
remove the capscrews (2) and lockwashers (3) and
remove the pulley hub (4).
(2) Remove the key (5).
(3) Remove the screws (6) and lockwashers
(7) and plug (8) and remove the endplate (9).
(4) Remove the shaft assembly from the
shell (21).
(5) Remove the spring (10) and bearings
(11 and 12) from the shaft using a suitable puller.
(6) Remove the fan (13) and rotor (14) from
the shaft only if necessary.

Remove
the
screws
(15)
and
lockwashers (16) and remove the endplate (17).
(8) Remove the baffle plate (18).
(9) Remove the setscrew (19) and remove
the stator (20) from the shell (21).
