(v) Install guard (3) with washers (2)
and screws (1).
(3) Extractor Motor (Eidal Model ELT9T).
(a) Position nameplate (41, dig. 7-11)
on the field shell (42). Secure nameplate with drive
screws (40).
(b) Install stator (39) in the field shell
(42).
(c) Install setscrew (38).
(d) Install the endplate (37) and
secure it with washers (36) and fillister head screws (35).
(e) Install baffle plate (34).
(f) Plate the rotor (33) and the fan
(32) in the field shell (42).
(g) Install bearing (31).
(h) Install spring (30).
(i) Install endplate (29) and secure it
with washers (28) and fillister head screws (27).
(j) Install plug (26) and fitting (25) on
endplate (29).
(k) Install bushing (24).
(I) Install the terminal box (23). Install
cover (22) on box. Secure assembly with washers (21)
and screws (20).
(m) Fit key (19) on the shaft.
(n) Install hub (18) and sheave (17),
secure the assembly with washers (16) and bolts (15).
(o) Fit key (14) on the shaft.
(p) Install hub (13).
(q) Install pulley (12) and secure it
with washer (11) and bolt (10).
(r) Install the motor assembly (9).
Secure motor with plain washers (8), screws (7),
washers (6), and nuts (5).
(s) Position belt (4) on pulleys.
(t) Install guard (3).
(u) Install lockplate (2) and mounting
screws (1).
(4) Drive Belt Adjustment.
Refer to TM 19-3510-208-12 and adjust
drive belts.
7-10. Washer Drive Jackshaft Assembly
a. Removal.
(1) Loosen the belts (1, fig. 7-14) from the
jackshaft.
(2) Disconnect line (2).
(3) Remove the four nuts (3), flatwashers (4
and 5), bolts (6), and flatwashers (7) securing the
jackshaft assembly (8) to the washer-extractor.
