(3) Hydro Sheave Drive (Edro Model
EP120-LTU).
(a) Remove drain/fill plug (1, fig. 7-13
and drain hydro-sheave oil into a suitable container.
(b) Remove nuts (2) and washers (3)
securing the cover plate, and remove cover plate (4)
and cover plate gasket (5).
(c) Straighten tangs on lockwasher (7)
and with a suitable wrench, remove nut (6) and washer
'7! from hydro-sheave shaft (8).
(d) Remove hydro-sheave shaft (8)
from impeller housing (23). Remove key (9) from shaft.
(e) Remove allen head nuts (10),
screws (11), and washers (12) from sheave hub (13).
(f) Remove sheave hub (13) and
gasket (14) from impeller housing (23).
(g) Remove oil seal (15), needle roller
bearing (16) and oil seal (17) from sheave hub (13).
(h) Remove carrier bearing (18) from
impeller housing (23).
(i) Remove "O" ring (19) from carrier
bearing.
(j) Remove snaprings (20 and 21) and
ball bearing (22), from carrier housing (18).
