water source.
Materials/Parts
Thread sealer compound
(Item 5, App C)
REPLACE

Remove strainer (1) from water pump suction
hose assembly (3).
Remove coupling (2) from strainer (1).
Coat threads of coupling (2) with thread
sealer compound (Item 5, App C) and install
coupling (2) ins strainer (1).
Install strainer (1) with coupling (2) on water
pump suction hose (3).
Perform follow-on installation.
Install hose to water source
(TM 10-3510-220-10).
