K. Raise and Secure Platform
CAUTION
Maintain a slight tension when paying out winch cable to ensure cable wraps remain
tight on winch. Failure to follow this precaution may result in sudden drops of
platform during raising and lower operations causing excess strain on cable.
1. Install winch handle (1) onto winch (2).
2. Loosen cable (3) slightly then unhook shackle (4) from u--bolt (5).
3. Use winch (2) to pay out cable (3) while maintaining a slight tension on cable.
4. Connect shackle (1) to u--bolt (6).
5. Use winch (2) to raise platform (7) until support legs (8) are no longer contacting ground.
