LADS power shut off at main control
enclosure (WP 0112 00).
Air pressure must be vented (WP 0113 00).
REMOVAL
WARNING
Still and steam piping can reach temperatures near 220o F when the water recycle system
is operating. Allow piping to cool prior to performing maintenance. Always wear gloves and
eye protection. Failure to follow this precaution could result in severe burn injuries.
1. Remove cap (1) from outlet piping A or B (2). Allow residual water to drain then reinstall cap.
2. Tag and disconnect tubes (3) from elbows (4) or tees (5) on three control valves (6).
3. Cut tiedown straps then move tube (3) away from discharge manifold (7).
4. Disconnect water supply hose (8) at cam & groove fitting (9).
5. Disconnect two unions (10) then remove water supply piping (11).
6. Disconnect two unions (12) then remove still inlet piping (13).
NOTE
Step 7 applies to discharge manifold A only.
7. Disconnect union (14) at still inlet piping (15).
8. Loosen clamp (16) then pull hose (17) off of discharge manifold (7).
9. Loosen clamp (18) then pull hose (19) off of discharge manifold (7).
10. Loosen clamp (20) then pull hose (21) off of discharge manifold (7).
11. Loosen clamp (22) then pull hose (23) off of discharge manifold (7).
12. Remove screw (24), flat washers (25), and nut (26) securing clamp (27) to bracket (28).
13. Remove clamp (27) from steam eductor (29).
