INSTALLATION
1. Apply anti--seizing tape to threads of elbows (4) or tees (5).
2. Install elbows (4) or tees into new actuator (37).
NOTE
When installing valve body, flats on stem must be oriented with flats on actuator, otherwise valve will be
opened when it should be closed or visa--versa.
3. Rotate stem (44) on new valve body (39) so that is aligned with flats (42) on actuator (37).
4. Insert valve body (39) between flanges (42). Install, but do not tighten, two screws (40) and nuts (41).
5. Mate actuator (37) and adapter (38) with valve body (39).
6. Install, but do not tighten, two screws (35) and nuts (36).
7. Evenly tighten screws (35 and 40).
8. Position discharge manifold (7) onto vertical support (34).
9. Secure three brackets (33) to discharge manifold (7) with six screws (30), lock washers (31), and flat washers
(32).
10. Install clamp (27) onto steam eductor (29)
11. Secure clamp (27) to bracket (28) with screw (24), flat washers (25), and nut (26).
12. Connect hose (23) to discharge manifold (7) then tighten clamp (22).
13. Connect hose (21) to discharge manifold (7) then tighten clamp (20).
14. Connect hose (19) to discharge manifold (7) then tighten clamp (18).
15. Connect hose (17) to discharge manifold (7) then tighten clamp (16).
16. Apply pipe thread sealant to threads of unions (10, 12, and 14) and piping (11, 13, and 15).
NOTE
Step 17 applies to discharge manifold A only.
17. Connect union (14) at still inlet piping (15).
18. Install still inlet piping (13) then connect two unions (12).
19. Install water supply piping (11) then connect two unions (10).
20. Connect water supply hose (8) at cam & groove fitting (9).
21. Connect tubes (3) at elbows (4) or tees (5) on three control valves (6) as tagged.
22. Secure tubes (3) to discharge manifold (7) with tiedown straps.
23. Use maintenance menu to test water circulation (WP 0010 00). While water is circulating visually check for
water leaks.
24. Perform a test laundry cycle (TM 10--3510--221--10). While water is circulating visually check for water leaks.
