INSTALLATION
1. Apply pipe thread sealant to threads nipples (11 and 13) and mating surfaces of union (10).
2. Note direction arrow (14) on new solenoid valve (9) then thread nipple (11) into valve outlet.
3. Thread nipple (13) into inlet of solenoid valve (9).
4. Thread solenoid valve (9) into piping (12) then orient as shown.
5. Connect union (10).
6. Connect electrical cable (8) to solenoid valve (9) then tighten screw (7).
7. Connect tube (5) at fitting (6).
8. Perform a HEAT WATER operation with a water temperature setpoint of 150 degrees F (TM 10--3510--221--10).
Verify no water leaks exist.
9. Close access door (2) and secure by engaging two latches (1).
