WARNING
Voltage in this equipment is high enough to cause
serious injury or death. Do not perform this task
with power on.
a.
REMOVAL
(1)
Loosen two screws (1) and remove plate (6) with attached switch (5) from control panel (11).
(2)
Tag and disconnect electrical wires from switch (5).
(3)
Remove two nuts (2), lockwashers (3) and screws (4) and separate switch (5) from plate (6).

INSTALLATION
(1)
Position switch (5) on plate (6) and secure with two screws (4), lockwashers (3) and nuts (2).
NOTE
Wire numbers are stamped on each electrical wire.
This information, in conjunction with data on FO-3,
Extractor Wiring Diagram, may be used to connect
wires if tags are lost or illegible.
(2)
Connect electrical wires to switch (5) as tagged.
(3)
Install plate (6) on control panel (11). Tighten screws (1) finger tight.
(4)
Go to switch adjustment procedure below.

ADJUSTMENT
NOTE
Switch adjustment is necessary when cam or switch
is replaced and when switch is out of adjustment due
to vibration.
(1)
Slowly close extractor lid and check if stud (7) on cam (8) is depressing switch actuator (9) enough to close
switch when lid is fully closed. If stud (7) comes down level and depresses switch actuator (9) as indicated in
illustration, switch is properly adjusted. If switch (5) or cam (8) need adjustment, go to step 2 or 3 as
appropriate.
