REPLACE
Replace the Water Reuse Holding Tank Sight Glass
CAUTION
Use caution when handling and tightening the sight glass tube. Overtightening will break
the glass.
1. Close valves (Figure 3, Item 1) on sight glass assembly.
2. Drain tank if possible.
3. Loosen sight glass nuts (Figure 3, Item 2).
4. Remove sight glass (Figure 3, Item 3).
5. Remove nuts (Figure 3, Item 2) and gaskets from sight glass (Figure 3, Item 3).
6. Inspect gaskets, and replace if necessary.
7. Install gaskets and nuts (Figure 3, Item 2) on replacement sight glass (Figure 3, Item 3).
8. Install replacement sight glass (Figure 3, Item 3) and retain in place with nuts (Figure 3, Item 2). Do
not overtighten.
9. Open valves (Figure 3, Item 1) and monitor for normal operation.
