SERVICE
Clean the Water Reuse Holding Tank Sight Glass
CAUTION
Use caution when handling and tightening the sight glass tube. Overtightening will break
the tube.
1. Close valves (Figure 1, Item 1) on sight glass assembly.
2. Drain tank if possible.
3. Loosen sight glass nuts (Figure 1, Item 2).
4. Remove sight glass (Figure 1, Item 3).
CAUTION
Do not use a bronze or stainless steel brush to clean the sight glass.
5. Use a rag to clean residue from sight glass (Figure 1, Item 3) interior.
6. Inspect gaskets, and replace if necessary.
7. Install sight glass (Figure 1, Item 3), and retain in place with nuts (Figure 1, Item 2). Do not
overtighten.
8. Open valves (Figure 1, Item 1), and monitor for normal operation.
