(3) Remove temperature gage (14) and bushing (15).
(4) Remove coupling (2), tee (16), bushing (17), and nipple (18).
d. Assembly.
(1) Be sure any defective, missing, or damaged components have been replaced.
(2) Apply sealing compound to threaded end (s) of nipple (18), bushing (17), and coupling (2) then install nipple,
bushing, tee (16), and coupling (2). Be sure tee is installed as illustrated with open fitting end facing up.
(3) Apply sealing compound to threaded end of bushing (15) and temperature gauge (14) then install bushing and
temperature gauge.
