Figure 4 shows the back view of the Avalanche Transceiver controls and indicators. To operate in
"Transmit" mode, turn the "ON/OFF" switch to the "ON" position.

Figure 5 shows the front view of the Avalanche Transceiver controls and indicators. To operate in receive
mode, turn the transceiver on, then press and hold the red "Search/Transmit" button until "SE" appears on
the screen. "SE" indicates "SEARCH."
