OPERATOR INSTRUCTIONS
OPERATION UNDER USUAL CONDITIONS MMK EQUIPMENT PROTECTORS

ATTACH
Protector, Axe
1. Loosen the retention cord to its longest length by depressing the button where the cord passes through
the large end of the protector.
2. Place the smaller end over the pick of the axe.
3. Place the larger portion over the adze of the axe.
4. Tighten the retention cord to keep protectors (Figure 1) in place.

Protectors, Crampon
Place protection nubs over appropriately lined up spikes on the crampons (Figure 2) securely.
