OPERATOR INSTRUCTIONS
OPERATION UNDER USUAL CONDITIONS MMK SNOWSHOES
DONNING/DOFFING

1. If desired, attach the 8-inch tail as follows:
a. Loosen knob (Figure 1, Item 1) until it stops turning.

b. Engage posts (Figure 1, Item 3) on back of snowshoe with holes (Figure 1, Item 2) on tail.
c. Firmly push tail into snowshoe, to stop position.
d. Hand-tighten knob.
2. Insert boot under straps. Toe of boot should remain behind bolts (Figure 1, Item 4).
3. Tighten four straps, starting from toe to heel, engaging strap holes with appropriate metal posts for
snug fit (Figure 2).
